Viber along with UNICEF launched the U-Report chatbot in Nepal in order to improve the community participation and better empower the young people in the country.
The U-Report chatbot by Viber will deliver vital and informative content to the youngsters; the content delivered by Viber will include COVID-19-related information, mental health topics and other important health details regarding the Nepali communities.

The UNICEF representative in Nepal stated that the latest initiative with Viber is created to enable the younger generations to access lifesaving information about COVID-19 and crucial mental health issues.
The users of the chatbots can also share their thoughts and opinions through the built-in surveys; however the privacy of all users participating in the chatbots will remain fully intact – and their names kept anonymous.
