LG G4 has come out as the 2015 successor of the LG G3. With its release just a few days ago in London, the phone is a real stunner. Globally, the phone will be released in June this year. Take a look at the following features as well as first impression.
LG G4 Release Date and Price
The release date of LG G4 will be around early June this year. The spare battery cover comes in either white, gold, and gray/silver colors while the leather back comes in shades of different variety including black, blue, drown, and red.
Design and Build Quality
The display of LG G4 is curved slightly, not as much as LG G Flex 2. But with this slight curve, you will have added a sort of nice look that will make the device to look great. Whereas the carbon optic detailing makes it to appear really nice, the leather versions might show scratches and scuffs easily when exposed to hard objects like car keys. But don’t mind, with care the phone is as great as it sounds- this is a common feature of leather but not the manufacturers fault. For the plastic version of the LG G4, the plastic cover isn’t that plain, as there are diamond patterns across the mantle of this phone’s plastic surface. This makes the phone to look even great when compared to LG G Flex 2 which has a polished look.

In terms of the screen display, the LG G4 stands at 5.5-inch with a QHD (2,560 x 1,440 pixel) IPS LCD, featuring Quantum Dot Technology and has been sandwiched under Gorilla Glass 3. The screen is very bright and comes with a natural color reproduction. All the viewing angles are stable where all these colors will remain great from any angle of viewing.
Software
The LG G4 software runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop where the software is the new LG UX 4.0. All the in-built apps have been updated and as well adapted to the Google’s Material Design guidelines. The Gallery app comes with some nice changes, in this case you will be able to see photos from special occasions and yearly groupings.
